- House of Craving - The house of siphons—legacies like vampires, sirens, succubi and incubi, and a few others. They feed on blood, dreams, emotions, and so forth in exchange for their intimidating powers, including immortality.

Koa - The Wise
God of earth, riches, magic, truths and lies, knowledge, plants, and fertility. Arati’s lover. Pronounced “Ko-uh”
Raan - The Serene
God of water, moonlight, serenity, storms, invention, discovery, and the oceans. Pronounced “Ran”
Syntyche - The Reaper
Goddess of spirits, reaping, fate, soul, time, dreams, darkness, death, and more. Eldest of the Celestial Triplets and identical twin to Sachar. Pronounced “Sin-tick”
Pheli - The Jubilant
God of air, sky, levity, hope, wind, light, laughter, change, and second chances. Pronounced “Fee-lee”
Sachar - The Judge
One of the Celestial Triplets, but not considered part of the pantheon anymore. Eternal judge of souls sent to the Beyond by his identical triplet sister, Syntyche. Pronounced “Suh-car”

- In the first draft, Maven had green eyes.
- The original working titles for the series were Blood Oath, Gold Lust, Fever Dream, and Frost Bite. They were changed to center the story more around Maven instead of her guys.
- The four main Cursed Legacies books were published within fourteen months.

Deleted Scene

As a peace offering for leaving you all in Limbo for a while after pushing back Divine Fate's release date, here is a deleted scene, which was once going to be a prologue.

It didn't go through final rounds of editing and isn’t part of the official story except for inside my head, so there may be inconsistencies, imperfections, and typos, but I enjoyed writing the quintet as children (minus Maven, who is very much not in the mortal realm at this time) and wanted to share it.
